DOOR / DOOR SHIPMENT HANDLING
(LCL / FCL BOTH)

Two of these include Full Container Load (FCL) and Less Than Container Load (LCL) shipping. FCL refers to shipments for which all goods in a container are owned by one party, while LCL involves multiple shippers' goods packed together.
Less than Container Load
The counter term is LCL – “Less than Container Load“ The term is used to describe the transportation of small ocean freight shipments which are not requiring the full capacity of a container. This is why an LCL-container is also called consolidated container.
FCL (Full Container Load)
The client's goods are transported in a filled and sealed container; LCL (Less than Container Load) or grouped shipment: the client' goods are not numerous enough to fill a container, the goods of several clients are put into one container.

WAREHOUSING

Warehousing is the act of storing goods that will be sold or distributed later. While a small, home-based business might be warehousing products in a spare room, basement, or garage, larger businesses typically own or rent space in a building that is specifically designed for storage. The six fundamental warehouse processes comprise receiving, put away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Optimizing these six processes will allow you to streamline your warehouse operation, reduce cost & errors, and achieve a higher perfect order rate.
Functions of Warehousing means the wide ranges of activities, which are associated with the physical distribution of goods from the end of the production line to the final consumers.
